We are excited to announce that Mary Grace Vinal, multiple disabilities teacher for Laurel Ridge ES, was recently awarded Outstanding New Teacher for Region 4. Mrs. Vinal received the award from Region Assistant Superintendent Penny Gros and Executive Principal Lisa Reddel. 

Laurel Ridge is proud of the dedication and compassion that Mrs. Vinal shares with students, families, and colleagues, and we are excited that she will now be a county finalist for the 2023 FCPS Outstanding New Elementary Teacher Award, which will be announced in June!
