Throughout FCPS, we are recognizing the important role military children play in the armed forces community. Purple Up Day will be celebrated on April 9th, and our week-long Military-Connected Spirit Week will be held April 7-11:

• Monday, April 7: Proud To Be Day! Wear the colors of the American flag or the flag from your country of origin!
• Tuesday, April 8: Favorite Branch Day! Wear the color of your family's branch or your favorite branch of the military.
• Wednesday, April 9: Purple Up Day! Wear purple to recognize our military kids at Laurel Ridge Elementary School!
• Thursday, April 10: Camo Day! Wear camo, brown, green, or black!
• Friday, April 11: Wear red to remember those who are deployed!
