About Our Library

• Laurel Ridge's library contains a variety of multimedia resources, as well as a large collection of books for pleasure reading and research.
• Our librarian, Mrs. Giba, and our library assistant, Mrs. Durfey, serve as resources to students, teachers, and parents. Mrs. Giba provides regularly scheduled class instruction, featuring library/research skills, story time, and book selection. 
• In addition, the Library Media Center is open for book circulation during the school day, 9:10 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. A computerized checkout system and online catalog, Destiny Discover, are available.

Parent Volunteers

• We welcome volunteer parents/adult relatives in the library! 
• We circulate thousands of books each month, so help with shelving is especially appreciated.
