Laurel Ridge is proud to announce that Sue Sheftic has received the FCPS Outstanding Operational Employee Award for the Robinson Pyramid. Every year, Fairfax County Public Schools celebrates the efforts and accomplishments of exceptional school-based and non-school-based employees from throughout the district. Nominations are submitted by peers and/or community members, and winners are selected after meeting a set of specific criteria for the award they are nominated for.  In her role as a kindergarten instructional assistant, Sue has played an instrumental part in supporting educators, fostering a positive learning environment, and making a lasting impact on students' lives.

Mrs. Sheftic will now represent our pyramid at the Region level of the award process. Congratulations to Mrs. Sheftic on this well-deserved recognition!
